I bought this cd a lonngg time ago, i just wanted to review it now. I'll start by saying that the talent in this band is far higher than any other power chord punk band. The guitars are very complex and the bass is used alot more than in other bands. The drums are precise and fast. Davey's vocals stand out from anyone else out there, as well as his beautiful lyrics. If you read ANY of his lyrics in this album and Black Sails, you will see that his lyrics are dark, emotional, and all so real. This CD is alot ROCK compared to lots of punk cd's. I recomend this cd to anyone that likes dark rock/punk, and is not into blink 182, and good charlette...and them. I also recommend that if you are an AFI fan, you should check out "Reiver's Music" and "Now the World." Both being INCREDIBLE.
