This is supposed to be "punk"?

Unlike just about every other band the "punk rawk" posers with mohawks at my school like, AFI has a great deal of talent, and aren't afraid to show it off. All four members are putting forth their musical best at just about any given moment on this CD. The songs aren't your typical repetative three-chord punk crud, and go through significant changes that really affect the listener. If you like any type of modern rock music at all, you'd be crazy not to like AFI. This is music that rises to a very high level, and is powerful because of it; stronger and better than Green Day, Blink 182, and Black Flag combined. If you don't believe me, and/or think AFI is too gothic, then go listen to "Days of the Phoenix" or "The Lost Souls." Both songs (and for that matter, every song on this record) are nothing short of amazing.
