This album could grow on you...

I've been a long term a-ha fan and have really enjoyed their transition from electronic pop to acoustic/electronic/not-yet rock/pop. At first when I got this album, I did not really like it...thinking that this could be very much like 'East of the Sun' album where there's lots of catchy melody. Instead, this album is kind of laid back in a sense...but it did grow on me. It's not packed with hits, but it's a good listening CD. It's very contemorary with grooves and samples...if you hear Savoy's solo album, you'll see it's quite similar to that, except with lots of electronic soundscapes (not overly done). Morten's vocal ability is very similar to where he left off on 'Memorial Beach'...no new singing technical surprises. My favorite song on the album is 'Summer Moves On'...well, the is their 1st single cut.
