Great Album

-One of my biggest mistakes in my musical collection was not picking this album up immediately when it was released. I was belated to Maynard James Keenan's other musical genious by more than a year after its release. If you've yet to jump in on this treasure, pick it up now!
-A Perfect Circle is everything Tool isn't. The very fact that people even compare it with Tool is aggravating. I find APC much more refined and a tamed animal than Tool, which is still a great collection of music on its own, but it fumbles about whereas APC focuses its attack much more accurately. Packed with odd-time signatures, fantasticly written songs, and a clear/precise musical ensemble, Mer de Noms gets the job done when it comes to the work of being an awesome compilation of music.
-Mer de Noms is punishing, brutal, yet serene and tranquil. One minute you're relaxing to the mellow sounds of 3 Libras, the next you're slapped in the face by the anger of Judith! Its a musically bipolar album, one with infinite replay value.
