good album

If there's one thing I'm really tired of hearing is people comparing A Perfect Circle to Tool. I can and do understand that Maynard James Keenan happens to be in both bands. Billy Howerdel also some old connections with Tool. However, he also has connections with other bands. So, why doesn't everyone compare Mer De Noms to his connections, or for that matter, everyone else in the bands? Anyway...Mer De Noms really takes on a life it's own, exploring emotions I personally never thought possible through music. They brought rock to a new height, and will hopefully continue the trend with Thirteenth Step. Good album.
