Before this CD was released, I was anticipating it like a child on Christmas, due to the fact that Maynard (from Tool) would be fronting the band. Another strange aspect I looked forward to was the fact that there was a female in the male dominated band. Maynard didn't fail to impress me on this awesome CD. However, why does it say Explicit Lyrics on the description when there isn't a Parental Advisory sticker to be found on the case or wrapper? Oh well, in my opinion, it was worth it that Maynard took time off from being with Tool to make this stellar debut. Although it's the first, and probably last from APC, it's worth picking up whether you're a tool fan or not. They have a stranger aspect to their music than tool's 5+ minute songs. They seem to be a little more on the "rock" side than the "metal" side on this CD. Some songs should've been left out however, like "Renholder". It's basically just instrumental boredom. The other 11 songs are amazing though. They all have a unique feel to them.
