Absolute perfection, again, from Maynard and co.

I simply don't understand the lackluster reviews I have read for this album. Upon purchasing this album, I had to listen to it two or three times before it began to grow on me, but I can tell you that this is the most flawless, perfectly gorgeous rock album I have ever heard. I own over 300 CD's covering every rock genre in the last 50 years and have never been completely captivated like I have with Mer de Noms. This is one of those rare albums in which every single song has merit and simply gets better with every listen...I didn't listen to anything but this album for close to six months, it's that good.

This is an album for fans of emotionally driven yet somewhat hard guitar-based rock; hopefully you're a Tool fan, as well.

I really can't give this record enough praise...just buy it and listen up, and you won't regret it.
