I just picked up this LP from Open Mind Records down on Divisdero...and I'm really apalled how boring this album is.

90% of these songs could be considered "hip-hop for young children." Seriously vanilla and lackluster for an adult.

No twists, no turns, nothing but plodding avergage beats. And super-redundant rhymes.

"yes yes y'all it's like this, yes yes ya'll it's like that"

...even the call and response is devoid of creativity and originality.

Hey 'Tribe Called Coma' -- if you want to put out a record that is not full of machismo, sexism and played-out commercial wackness, that's great. But don't put out a record that would put my grandma to sleep. Don't put out a record deviod of balls or any kind of inspiration.

Don't purchase this record unless you like really bad kiddie hip-hop. And that's coming from a real Fat Boys fan, so you know that I'm not hating on less-serious stuff.
