Tribe's Best CD

Once you reach perfection, it goes downhill from there. This is the case of A Tribe Called Quest. After this gem of an album, they couldn't match it. It features consistently excellent lyrics, beats, and guest appearances. There is no imperfect song on this album, and its refreshing pace (it's shorter than any of their other albums) is a welcome change to normally long hip-hop albums. Even The Midnight Marauder Tour Guide with "Aquarius" as its background music couldn't be any better and is not distracting from the album. The best way to remember A Tribe Called Quest is to buy and listen deeply to this album.
