Tribe's third album would have to be pretty solid to follow-up their amazing Low End Theory LP. Unlike many artists like Nas & Wu-Tang who released lackluster LP's after dropping an amazing effort, Tribe's Midnight Marauders is just as satisfying as The Low End Theory. From the hit "Award Tour" to "We Can Get Down" to "Midnight", A Tribe Called Quest continued where The Low End Theory left off. By using obscure jazz samples and rich basslines for beats and with Tip & Phife's strong lyrics, Midnight Marauders is a winner. Even the skits aren't that annoying. If you don't have a album pick by A Tribe Called Quest, pick one up now! Their first three albums are their best. This group changed the face of hip-hop and this album is just as important as The Low End Theory.
