I really appreciate the response that someone gave about Aaliyah's last LP. But what I didn't appreciate was the fact that, people are going around saying that Ashanti ia better than Aaliyah. It is understandable that she is gone, yes. But when she was here, she put her all into her work. I was too dissapointed when I realized that she did not write her own music, but to disrespect her and deny her the title of The Princess Of Hip Hop and R&B, is just wrong. Yes Ashanti was given every Grammy that Aaliyah did not win but Aaliyah was still hot. she took that dissapointment and built upon it and that is what made her a better person. Ashanti just now came on the scene. She is not even eligible for that title. Hell, look how long Mary J Blige had to get the title Queen of Hip Hop and R&B Soul. People need to realize that Ashanti is just a recording. She is not a very good performer, and the only reason she is the way she is, is because of Ja Rule. So please respect Aaliyah. She left us with banging hits like We Need a Resoulution, Try Again, Rock The Boat, More Than A Woman, If Your Girl Only Knew, y'all know the rest.
