She's good, but....

(8/10)she lacks monica's strong vocals, brandy's soft croon, and/or mya's steady, uplifting beat. it's cool she's trying to be unique and stylish, but she doesn't have to be hotheaded and sing songs about sex and hookin' up all the time. i thought some of the songs on this debut were kinda cheesy, and coming from other recording artists' tunes and style. if you ask me i would recommend you listen to some of these songs before you buy this album. you might be disappointed.
