Well, Aaron has defenately changed his style in music since his debut in '97! He doesnt sing in this album, exept on the one ballad "Im all about you" Instead he "raps" but sereously, he cant rap, hes pretty much just talking. I think Aaron would be MUCH better off as a pop or rock singer, because the rap style obviously wasnt ment to be for him. I hate to admit it, but right now, I do believe that if his brother wasnt a Backstreet Boy, I sereously dont think that Aaron would be this far along in his courier, or even have this courier at all, believe me, I didnt used to think this way! I know that a lot of his fans now like him so much because of how hott he is, and not really his music, and I can see they have reason to think that way too because I cant see this album being really appriciated by anyone over the age of 12. I like his previous music, but this album does not show any sign of the talent that I know Aaron does have. A few of the songs appealed to me at first because of the catchy hooks, but when I actually listened to them, they just made me laugh-"Oh Aaron" is a story revolving around the Backstreet Boys-of coarse-the whole idea of even making a song like this one- about the Backstreet Boys is defenately not a good idea at all! Who wants to hear a 13yr old brother of a backstreet boy talk about the backstreet boys in a song I mean HELLO?!? Thats pathetic! And he probably gets more critisizm because of it! "Not Too Young Not To Old" is alright but the quote from the song "Taking all the girls for a cruise in my ride" is pathetic, hes not even old enough for a permit!! quote:"Playa Hate"-LOL! need I say more? come on- who wrote these lyrics anyway??(obviously not a rapper!) "Stride" this one doesnt have the best lyrics either, makes no scents. "Come Follow Me" Lol! he gives some props out to the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears in a line of this song! LOL!..."I Would" dont like this one much, very dorky lyrics. "Baby Its You" now heres a keeper, I liked this one! "Im all About You" is the only ballad, good song that shows off his talent, need to see more of that since thats what a singer is supposed to do n all! "Hey You" has a good chorus, good song. "Kid In You" Lyrics, once again, a bit dorky, chorus is fun, but he name drops the Timberland shoe like twice, and thats dorky comein from him. "Cowgirl" Is a good one if you wanna laugh! Lil Mama! LOL! I hope I dont sound too mean here, but Im just speakin my mind! Tellin it like it is! lol- seriously, if Aaron does this again youll pry agree with me if you dont already, but I hope he gets the picture next time. Hed be good as a rock or pop singer-not a rapper!
