Reason to not give up on rock music

I originally heard the song "remedy" on a local radio station. I just couldn't get it off my mind. So I finally went and bought the cd, "humanistic", and I found that every other track on the cd was as addictive as the radio single. I can't say that about many albums these days. My thoughts about the sound of Abandoned Pools is like Smashing Pumpkins with a subtle Aphex Twin-type inspiration. And I say Smashing Pumpkins not saying they sound just like them. What I'm saying is that Abandoned Pools is the first great Smashing Pumpkins-influenced band. I'm not going in-depth on each song on the album because I feel "humanistic" is an album to be listened to to really understand. This album might be the remedy for the faltering rock world.
