Not an all bad effort from the group, the album was actually called Flowers where i come from, yet i feel Cruel Summer was a better track. He Decides is a real highlight on this but i noticed greatly the disappearance of All That She Wants vocalist Linn from major singing duties (and photos). I can't help but think that rather than go with the soft approach as they have since The Bridge, they should have taken a little from the success of The Sign. The clear departure from real dance music means a bigger challenge to write superb pop songs, which is not like like pulling a rabbit from a hat. The music is beginning to sound a little familiar and the lyrics while positive and up beat are making me think same ol' same ol'. Come on guys raise the BPM....It's the millenium! Will be interested to see what versions of songs appear on the compilation in January.
