Like so many of acey's fans, I have been waiting for this day for quite some time and it was worth it. The great thing about acey is that his lyrics are so real, you can relate to him and feel what he's saying. First, off don't dare compare this to his book of human language, that was a concept album and one of the best rap albums ever in my opinion. This album is all about rapping, and aceyalone showcases his skills well. The production fits his unique rhyming ability perfectly. The track i like the most is "I never knew". Listen to his other albums, such as haiku d'etat and freestyle fellowship collaborations. So many "rappers, rappers, rappers" just don't compare to him, he's "five feet" above the rest, his lyrics are so ill they are "alive", his struggles through life's "hardships" have paid off, "i never knew" about him until a few months ago, but now with all his albums i'm saying, "i've got to have it too", aceyalone is truly an "accepted eclectic", he possesses the "golden mic", acey is the "b-boy real mc coy", he get's "downright dirty" on the mic, he will teach you to "master your high", he's not a hog, he shares the "microphones" with his team, acey is here to "serve and protect" the underground sound, his music will make you "bounce", "i can't complain" about buying this cd, and check out "project blowed" the ground breaking album ahead of it's time. Support acey's efforts and attend his shows too!
