This is the second and last Acid Bath album. They broke up after bassist, Audie Pitre, died. And it's too damn bad because this is one of the most intense albums available on the market. But intense in both energy and emotion. From chaotic angry noise to beautiful melodic trance, this album covers almost the entire range.

Bright moments include the raging yet beautiful "Bleed Me an Ocean", the melodic "Graveflower", and the heavily beat-driven and chaotic "Locust Spawning". There's not really a moment worth missing on this one.

For those of us who are undying fans of Dax Riggs (lead vocalist), more of his projects include Agents of Oblivion (now defunct), and the recently formed Dead Boy and the Elephant Men. (...)
