Bachelor No. 2 is my favorite album. I first started listening to Aimee Mann when I bought Magnolia out of boredom, just because I had read a good review in PEOPLE and wanted to see the movie. I'm so glad I did. Aimee Mann has become my favorite singer, and I love every single one of her solo albums(haven't listened to 'Til Tuesday much). I can't begin to rank any of her others(Magnolia; I'm With Stupid; Whatever) but Bachelor No. 2 is without any doubt my favorite.

From the first chords of "How Am I Different"(this one took me the longest to like, now it's one of my favorite tracks) to Mann's fading crooning on "You Do", there isn't a single note or lyric I would change. The standouts--All of them, and I'm being completely honest. Every single one has been stuck in my head at some point or another, and I can say that without any exaggeration. I'll limit myself to five favorites:(out of thirteen, this may be tough) Satellite, Red Vines, Driving Sideways, Deathly, Calling It Quits.

That was difficult. It's like killing eight children. Or at least cutting off eight fingers (if you have thirteen fingers).

Well, I'm bored, and mainly want to grade every CD I own so I can make those recomendations more accurate, but I'm still glad I can recommend this masterpiece to amazon's readers. There, moving on to Stankonia.
