Aimee Mann is one of the best singer-songwriters we have

I love Aimee Mann's music. It's funny because I feel this weird connection to her music. Her lyrics are so simple that you feel like you've said them before. A lot of her music is great to listen to if you're going through a break-up, like 'I Should've Known', 'Stupid Thing', and 'I Could Hurt You Now'. She's so relatable; I don't know why her music isn't more widely known. After P.T. Anderson's film 'Magnolia', which was a mosaic of her songs, she got more attention but is still one of the most underappreciated artists out there. I can probably relate to her even more than Joni Mitchell, my favourite artist.
