very cool, very hip music that reminds me of Steely Dan

I first heard of Air when I purchased soundtrack of Virgin Suicides. I was very impressed with the song Ce Matin La, and the reviews that I read of Moon Safari were very favorable. The music is very good, and I can't help but feel the sonds of Steely Dan when I listen to this album, although that may just be my own unique impression of the music. Some of the songs have a disco feel and some are simply lovely to hear with a certain feel of vulnerability. "All I need's a peace of mind, then I can celebrate" might sound cheesey until you hear the beauty that makes this song come together. "Remember" is comical with the computer-sounding vocals, very cool with bass rif and drum beat. A great album to put on when you are busy doing some task that needs to have some music playing that allows you to not be distracted, yet does allow you to get into a groove to the music. I am glad that I was introduce to this music as a result of Sofia Coppla icluding them on the excellent soundtrack of Virgin Suicides.
