Alan Jackson is primarily traditional. He's gone the other way on a few recordings, but only slightly. However, I hope that everything he records which follows this album, is as traditional is "Under the Influence". I think this is great, although the originals are still the best when the artists who made them famous, sing them. Still, I am so happy that in this day and age of "country" music, there are a few younger artists, like Alan, who know what country REALLY is!
