Jackson Tops! Best Album of the Year!

(MMR)-Texas Alan Jackson has done it! This compliation is a masterpiece with only one flaw....it needs at least twenty more songs. These songs are Alan's greatest hits...no not his chart-toppers but the songs that influenced him. Every song is a work of art recorded with respect and integrity for the original artists. The most suprising cut was "Blues Man". This was a Hank Williams, Jr. self-penned tune that I have appreciated for years. Alan's rendition of this song was fabulous! It is great to see Alan's appreciation for great artists who are no longer played on the radio. (Blues Man needs a video to be truely appreciated. "Under the Influence" is my pick for ACM and CMA top album awards.
