Jagged Little Pill was an album well written by Alanis and produced by mr. Glenn Ballard, it does not reached the titled of overproduced...it reached the state of an album that showed that you can be mad and still enjoyed singing about it. None of the tracks were in any way filler cuts, "All I Really Want" showcased the plead for justice!, "You Oughta Know" was purely the I'm over you, but I want to hurt you song, "Perfect" stated the way that everybody feels by the pressure of being somebody in this life, "Hand In My Pocket" was a parade of life, "Right Through You" tell it in your face song, "Forgiven" as someone who believes in the power of God I do understand this, "You Learn" a song about life, and how you have to face it, with courage, "Head Over Feet" ay ay love, so complicated and simple at the same time, "Mary Jane" storyteller, "Ironic" the title say it all, life is in fact ironic. "Not The Doctor" if there was one song I didn't get, this was it, "Wake Up" already over yet?, the hidden track "Went to your house" is an amazing acapella song that showed the hurt and dissapointment, when you find out your lover is cheating..........An album that changed a lot the scenario for woman in music back in the middle 90's, this album established the ladies as a strong force in rock and roll, and her leading lady Alanis Morissette. A unique and undoubtly classic record.
