Unplugged at its best

Alanis UNPLUGGED was a great idea. Its nice to hear her songs in a more laid back approach, with different interpretations. Vocally she sounds up to par and the songs bring new emotion in this environment. The most compelling song here in my opinion is the vocally endearing "That I Would Be Good". She also gives interesting interpretations of past hits such as the unplugged version of "You Oughta Know", which is just as good, if not better, than the original. As well Alanis introduces some new songs, a cover of the Police song "King of Pain", and some new songs such as "No Pressure Over Cappuccino", "These R The Thoughts" and "Princes Familiar", which are all great songs, worth the price of this album alone. If you are a hardcore Alanis fan, or even a casual one, you wont want to do without this album, its great to hear the songs in this type of setting. Great!
