A real talent

I am a big Alanis fan and loved her first 2 albums. And this is no exception. Although all but 4 of the songs are culled from her last 2 albums, they are given a whole new treatment which makes them refreshingly new. Stripped of all electric instruments, and with Alanis' vocals more subdued, the songs really shine through. Alanis is a true talent, unlike a lot today. She is a brilliant singer/songwriter and plays her own instruments, piano, guitar, flute and harmonica. (Although she doesn't play piano on this cd). There are also 3 original songs on here, as well as a cover of "King of Pain". I recommend this cd to all fans of Alanis.
