The standard review is too harsh...

This is a beautiful CD! I saw her live @ the Key Arena in Seattle when she came last year with a few of my friends, and I think this CD is almost better. It does "bare all," but I certainly don't think that it's a bad thing. Alanis has always been a very honest artist, and this displays her at her best. Princes' Familiar is a wonderful song; it's unlike anything else I'd heard from her, and I have to say that if this is the direction she's taking her music, I'll be buying her CDs for a long time to come...
