Order in Chaos...
Review Score:

(10/10)
Having played this album incessantly for several days, I reckon it's far and away her best album since the stunning Jagged Little Pill - which was in my opinion, a landmark in Rock.
Without direspecting anybody, I simply cannot imagine how some people, presumably Alanis fans, have reacted badly to this exceptional collection of songs.
To me, this is one of those rare albums on which virtually every track is a potential single. Eight Easy Steps, Out Is Through, Excuses, Doth I Protest Too Much, Knees Of My Bees (hey, how about that title?) Not All Me, Spineless, and the actual single Everything, are some of the most murderously singalong songs I have ever heard - and Alanis is SUCH a strong singer, with a beautiful voice, both in lead and harmony vocals.
Lyrically, the utterly haunting Doth I Protest Too Much (borrowed from Shakespeare's "Methinks she/he doth protest too much...") and The Grudge, beautifully revisit Alanis Relationship Territory, yet the whole album is very up tone, presumably reflecting her own worldly yet positive state of mind.
I have loved all her albums, but this goes infinitely beyond anything I was expecting. Like the stylistically different Jagged, this is yet another true work of genius.
Use The Force Alanis... "You don't need to see the bad reviews... Just buy this unequivocal mistresspiece..."
She will be mine... Oh yes...
