Hey, this is NOT the album that defines Alice Cooper! It's another of his comebacks, like "Flush The Fashion" or "Constrictor", cleverly using all the riffs and sounds contemporary kids dig. It's really quite a hunk of metal, this CD, but sometimes the songs are too much alike, some sound like leftovers from "The Last Temptation", and I badly miss his typical hymns... Listen to "It's The Little Things" - even though it's a rip-off of Elvis' "Blue Suede Shoes" - it still comes closest to what an old time Alice fan expects. Still he gets 5 stars because "I-I-I've been waiting so long/For this thing to co-o-ome". PS: Alice always does his albums in "twos", so the next one will also sound like a twin to "Brutal Planet" - do you realize that our next chance for a PERFECT COOPER ALBUM will come when he's SIXTY-FOUR? Will we still need him, will we still feed him? Just a thought...and always remember the Coop.
