i wouldn't call this the best Alice in chains album, but it kicks ass. this is album is mostly written by Layne Staley except for three songs (grind, heaven beside you, and over now) which were written by Jerry Cantrell. the music is dark, gloomy, and beautiful. the lyrics are sick and brutal. this is this the last studio album by the band. i truely recommend this.
