melody and rhythm combine on dark, disturbing album.

This eponymous LP carries on with the good progress AIC have been making through the 90's with another consistent and solid album. The fun begins with an atonal Cantrell lick on the bonecrunching opener "Grind" which is one of the albums highlights along with "God Am" and the crushing "Sludge Factory." Along with these classics the band throw in "Heaven Beside You"; a sublime song that displays the bands ability to mix axe-mangling riffs with clean-cut classical melodies. Well worth a buy.
