_Dirt_ is one of the best rock albums of the '90s. Jerry Cantrell is a great guitar player, even if he doesn't get the proper recognition, and Layne Staley has an oddly melodic voice. This is one of my all-time favorite albums. In my opinion, it ranks right up there with _Led Zeppelin II_. Nirvana's _Nevermind_ may have been the most influential album of the '90s, but _Dirt_ was the best (even better than Metallica's self-titled album). From "Them Bones" to "Would?," _Dirt_ rocks all the way through. This is an album that you can listen to from beginning to end.
