Good, Not Great

I recently bought Facelift at a pawn shop ... I had heard a lot about Alice In Chains from the Seattle Grunge Era, but I had never listened to any of their music. After I bought it and listened, I liked the music, but I wasn't too impressed. Alice In Chains is not the best group in the grunge era and they seem to be almost metal. The songs are pretty good. I may be the only one to say this, but the vocals do get annoying after a while. I think they needed a little more variety in the guitars, and the vocals. Also, this doesn't really have the same grunge sound like Nirvana has, but nonetheless, this is still a pretty good album. But I think a true fan of grunge music, would have a better time listening to Nirvana. ...
