Much can be said about "Dirt" and "Jar of Flies" but for me Facelift is pure no holds barred AIC! Don't get me wrong the other two albums are awesome(I own all AIC albums) but none capture the essence of Alice like this one. From the Gen-X theme like "We Die Young", into the monster riffs of "It Ain't Like That", down to the highly underated final track "Real Thing", this album is raw, in your face rock'n'roll. I know "Music Bank" has all the old demos and a couple of new songs but for first time AIC listeners this album will show you what all the hype is about. LISTEN LOUD & OFTEN.
