Best Live recording I ever heard

Quite simply this is the best live recording in rock history. I am old enough to have heard a few, being 42. If stranded on a desert island, this would be one of the 5 CD's I would need with me.
It's hard to believe that the group hadn't played in quite a while before this MTV session, but it's true. The band is incredibly tight and in tune with each other.
The harmonies are crisp and ingenius, maybe the best voice collaboration since Lennon-McCartney. Tragic Layne Staley was at his heart wrenching best here, and Jerry's Cantrell's hot licks and right-on vocals all mesh into a stunningly beautiful harmonic set. My favorites are "Down in a Hole", "Over Now" , "Would" and "Got Me Wrong" , but everything on here is good. I don't heap praise like this on lightly...awesome CD...you're a fool if you don't grab it.
