"Indispensable" for an AIC fan, but not that good

I have been an AIC fan for about 10 years now, and they have never dissapointed me. This, however I did like it, was the last AIC album I got my hands on.

Of course, I agree that (FOR AN AIC FAN) this is a must-have album; but... the cold truth is... well, it could have been better.

First of all, there ain't no songs from Facelift. And that's a big turn down. Second, there are some very weak tracks, played poorly, like No Excuses and Over Now.

But not everything is bad, there are some tracks that sounded better than the studio version, like Frogs, Sludge Factory, Brother....

In the end, this is a meddiocre album, although I rated it with 4 stars (coz' I'm a very AIC fan), it really desserves 3.

Well, if you're a AIC hardcore fan, get this album. Simple. Better, get the VHS version, coz seeing Layne is everytime somewhat relaxing.

If you're not an AIC fan and you are planning listening AIC, dont get this album. Get Facelift first, and work your wy through SAP, JOF, Dirt, and Tripod.
