Alison Krauss could sing the weather report beautifully

A unigue voice with great taste, with excellent arrangements. This is an honest singer doing what she loves and doing it better than most anyone else, even if it isn't hardcore bluegrass and even if the songs aren't masterpieces ( when you think about it there are not many pop songs that threaten Gershwin, Cole Porter or any of the other tin pan alley greats!). A thoroughly enjoyable record for anyone with open ears and heart.
