A classic, plain and simple.

The trio could never make an album like this again. They have fallen off so far that even if they looked up they couldn't see the glory that they used to have. What happened? This album is so close to sonic perfection, so good that it defies categorization. The day this album was created all the souls in hell that tempted punk, emo and hardcore bands to suck were pacified and forced to stay in hell for another year so that the perfection of this album could be felt. This album is the Jesus of pop punk, and for two more albums the greatness was felt and then they went back to heaven. And when their self titled was dropped, the devils in hell that ruin good bands finally got control over the trio and they lost thier divinity and became mortals. So with only a mortal view on divinity they released From Here TO Infirmary, a decent album. Then their new ideas on divinity got to thier heads, though they stayed mortal and inable to create any more classics, they still declared themselves gods (especially Matt). They got a new holy ghost (that guy from Suicide Machines another band that fell off) and thus they created Good Mourning, a horribly mediocre release. Thus they became fallen angels, and have only been trying to create thier old glory. Poor guys, they fell hard. I don't know if this makes any sense, this is probably some of the weirdest stuff I've ever written. But hey take it with a grain of salt...... This album is great and should be a beacon on what kind of an album a band should put out. And it should also be a model of what NOT TO DO when you have a successful band that puts out great records. They really should have broken up after FHTI.
