Avril Lavigne does not sing punk music, OK? Just because some 20 year old guys who are payed minimum wage to play punk-like music on their guitars and their drums next to Avril does not make Avril, or her pathetic music, Punk-material.
Sk8r Boi? was the 'a' and 'e' keys broken on her computer when she wrote the lyrics, or is the use of the '8' and the 'i' in boy just a cheap way for rich, money-making businessmen who just want to appeal to younger, more naive teens/pre-teens?

REAL punk music is displayed with bands like the Sex Pistols.
Punk wannabe pop music is displayed primarily with Avril, and to a far less poor extent, Good Charlotte.

And to the people who have found out that Avril will soon become a country singer/was a country singer; Country cannot fuse with punk. A moron could've figured that out. Music is like a painting and its frame- an abstract picture doesn't blend with another type of frame- at some point it MUST fit. Think about that.

Also, to the slow-minded Avril fanboys who haven't heard real music, I really do not care if you click 'no' under where it says 'was this helpful to you?', because quite frankly, I've argued with fanboys like you who like Britney clones just as much as you, and they come out of the argument sounding like it's the only music that they've heard.

Oh and by the way- MTV plays all of the cheapest, newest music that appeals to the younger generation, despite lack of actual talent. Now, how many times did you see Sk8r Boi and Complicated being shown daily on MTV?
