This may sound weird coming from a System of a Down fan but I can't help it, her songs are so damn catchy, she's gorgeous too. I'd consider this to be guitar pop, not lame bubblegum pop like Nsync. I think Avril is a great singer and this album is full of well written songs like "Complicated", "Tomorrow", "My World" & "Nobody's Fool". I listen to Avril when I want something mellow, you can only listen to so much SOAD before your ears start to bleed. We all need our chill out music and this is it for me. I know a guy who listens to underground death metal music and he confessed to me that he was a secret Avril fan and that he was going to one of her concerts and took his niece there as a cover up. This album is full of catchy songs that only a deaf person wouldn't enjoy.
