This is Avril Lavigne's debut album. Everyone should know about her now, cuz shes gotten veeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrry popular over the past 2 years. She was born in a city/town called Napanee in Canada, and lived there on her school years. In the middle of her high school days, she moved to NYC to get a contract to the popular record label Arista (Pink, Usher). So, one of the leaders there, L.A. Reid gave her a contract to be a star. So, a few months later, the 1st single that introduced her to the world was "Complicated". She didnt do that well at 1st, but somehow, it got in heavy rotation a month later. Yippie! So, thats good news, cuz she got a lot of talent within her. She also plays electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and sometimes the piano. Several instruments, ey? Nice... Oh, before I do the tracklisting like always, ill tell you what I think about some of the songs first.

"Sk8ter Boi" is the 2nd single that made her more famous. She tells a story about a Skater Boy and Skater Girl being together, and ideally in love. Later, Avril calls herself a skater boy (youre a girl, ya know). Thats pretty funny. "Nobodys Fool" is a track where she raps, and I love the way she rhymes. How can anyone not like the way she raps? It shouldve been released as a single, cuz it wouldve made #1. Sheesh. Oh well! At least she sold over 3 million copies with only 4 singles. My personal favorite is "My World", which also shouldve been a hit. I think its the most poppy song on the album, but I love it alot. OK, im rating the songs now!
