No Pretending, not even her stage performance vocals

Avril's image: "just like me for who I am, cuz that's all ur gonna get". And her songs are SO her. She's probably one of my favorite singers because she is just so herself, and Some of her songs-- they just ROCK! I especially like "Complicated" and "Sk8er Boi" because she really writes them in such a way it's capturing and it relates. I also liked "Anything But Ordinary" since it's so her and so what I wanted to be. The only thing I'm a bit disapointed in was that when her onstage performance vocal was so different than the nice crystal-y voice on the CD and it wasn't that 'good'. It's either they changed the voice too much or that Lavigne needs to work more there; (I think) but genrally still liked the album alot. Being anything but ordinary, and (I was surprised she still didn't change her image into those tarty Spears) that's what I really like about this CD.
