Too "Pop", More of the Same

Admittedly, I bought this CD because I had listened to Avril's first album and was curious as to how she does in her latest auditory compilation.

Her vocals were reminescent of Alanis Morissette right when Alanis succumbed to the "pop" disease, attempting to sound remorseful and longing at the same time but without any amount of soul in the lyrics.
