First off, I hate people who try to act like something they're not, Avril claiming to be a so-called punk; sure next thing you know people will be calling Good Charlotte punk *gag*. Avril is a pop artist, and should keep it at that, she started as a preppy (look at any of her photos before she made it big.), and is making it 'big' as a poser, no..Queen of the posers!It's dumbf***s like her who get people raiding hot topic, gadzooks (before it went preppy), etc. etc.; and acting like they're SO PUNK, because that's the 'in' thing to do; a good bunch of them arent doing it because they like how it looks, or because they want to be different from the crowd (the crowd steadily all of a sudden is becoming punk; funny how that works.); nay, instead they are doing it because Avril is popular, and Good Charlotte is popular, and being punk is popular; so they go out and try to combine them.Hell, I saw some chick a few days ago sporting hot topic pants with spikes and chains and such; then wearing this abercrombie and fitch top..Abercrombie is, and never will be PUNK, I think posers all over need to figure that out.I'd love to continue this rant, but I'd just wind up reitterating myself, so I'll just close with this..Punk is music, music different from any other type; music made to be different. Bands like the Misfits, Alkaline Trio, Green Day and many more are what punk really is, and the Queen of the Posers needs to realize what she is, JUST ANOTHER POP ARTIST.
