A great 2nd cd
Review Score:

(10/10)
As an avid avril fan, i was extremely excited to hear that her 2nd cd was on the shelves! here ive critiqued all of the songs:
1.) take me away: 10/10, a great great opening song.
2.) together, 10/10 nice melody, really shows off her musical abilities. awesome song.
3.) dont tell me: 8/10, i dont think this song is very flattering to her in some parts. it makes her voice sound funny, but it has a good message too it. good song.
4.) he wasn't: 8/10: can be annoying, but a good song. im not real fond of the lyrics, but a good song nonetheless.
5.) how does it feel: 9/10: a great great song, its slow, thats why i gave it a 9, but an awesome song if you're feeling down.
6.) my happy ending: 11/10: one of my favorite songs on the cd, great message, she sounds GREAT and the instruments are very noticable in the backround. the instrumentals really make the song.
7.) nobodys home: 11/10: my favorite song on the whole cd, she sounds really really good, and the guitar sounds great. its one of those would-be depressing songs, but for some reason it dosnt make you depressed, it makes you feel like you can take on anything. a great girl-power song, for some reason.
8.) forgotten: 10/10, a really great song, sort of sounds like the others, but a great message to it. her voice sounds good, but not as good as in some of the other songs.
9.) who knows: 14/10: This song is just awesome. Its positive, but not too pop-y. It a great feel-good song.
10.) fall to peices: 9/10, a strange follow-up to who knows. very dark, but a great great very well-done song.
11.) freak out: 8/10: my least favorite song, i dont really like the placement on the cd. it sounds more like her 1st cd, but its not bad. i just dont really care for it. electric guitar is awesome, however.
12.) slipped away: 10/10, a great end to the cd, very sad but has a great meaning to it. she dedicated it to her late grandfather, and i really like the song. its soft but still edgy, and its vague enough so that it would make a great song for the loss of anyone, or just when you're feeling down. great, great song.
overall, this cd is awesome. its got a great variety, and really deserves some attention. its much more mature than comlicated, but it still targets a wide range of ages. a must have for any pop/rock cd collector, or anyone who needs someone to realate to when life just dosn't go their way. BUY THIS CD NOW!
