i'd marry this cd if it asked

my love affair with BNL began many years ago with Stunt. I've owned all their meaningful albums, and the yellow tape, for quite a while. after listening to each of their cds, oh, about eleventy billion times, this is my favorite.
there are no bad songs. there aren't even any songs that sound the same. each song is brimming with clever lyrics, intriguing instrumentation, and the heart and wit that infuse most of BNL's work. i think of this as their "bitter" album - but they sound so good when they're bitter!
so, if you like nice things, buy this. especially if you like other BNL, because this is better. (MYSD and Gordon are also reeeally good, though...) Don't buy this if you lack a sense of humor.
