"Odelay" embodies eclecticism at it's best

I rarely give five stars to an album, but this is one masterpiece that will be in the classics category 30 years from now, guaranteed. Odelay broadens and intensifies the eclectic sound of the 1994 LP Mellow Gold, with a slight focus on funk and hip-hop -- although you will find virtually every other genre brilliantly fused into the aural framework as well. The Dust Brothers should also be given two thumbs up for their dead-on production, as it serves as one of their best achievements as well.
