Unbelievably good music.

I picked up this album with little hope of being pleased, but popular music today is such a wasteland, and this is one of the few things i've found on amazon with inspiring reviews. The first song on the album left me wondering what to think, the second got my hopes up, and the third (Tishbite) blew me away. As an avid Belly fan, the style and music of Tishbite seemed warmly familiar, but it was different enough to get my attention. My favorite track on the album is Rilkean Heart, with Tishbite as a close second. I listen to those two tracks before i go to bed at night, one or both of them are stuck in my head whenever i'm away from a cd player.

After the first run through, this album sat in my cd player for days, playing over and over again. i'm hopelessly addicted, and so very sad that the band isn't together anymore. After a couple days of repeated listenings, i went out and purchased Four-Calendar Cafe and Victorialand with high hopes. They're definitely good, but a little more to the 'etherial-pop' side of Milk & Kisses. I wish Cocteau Twins had put out more albums like this...
