Being a person ,who had never heard DMB before buying this album, I was in for a surprise, I found it to be easy listening,melodic and soothing.This cd is live, which is a bonus, because songs really shine when performed live.Dave Matthews is an excellent musician and writer, with the ability to write songs with catchy riffs,but still have feeling and detail, it is a refreshing change from the commercial pop music today. The cd has stand out songs, which most DMB fans would have already heard,but the live album brings them alive, such as rapunzel,rhyme and reason,crash,don't drink the water, as well as a cover of Bob Dylan's all along the watchtower. It is a pleasent album,and one where you can just lye down and listen to the whole album and relax.This double cd offers over 2 hours of music,with some songs 13 minutes plus. I would say this is one of the best albums that I have bought, especially since I usually go for more "rock" albums, but this album combines pop,rock,jazz, and any other style you could think of. In finishing I would commend DMB for their great songwriting and excellent playing.
