Good Album, but lacks electricity of "Red Rocks" effort

If I were comparing this album to other Dave Matthews Band collaborations, I would only give it 4 stars. However, I'm not, so I award it 5! If you don't already own "Live @ Red Rocks" and can only afford one DMB cd, buy it instead. "Listener Supported" is an outstanding album by any other band's standards, but some of the songs are played at 3/4 time and seem a little slow. The inclusion of Tim Reynolds on "Red Rocks" gives that album an extra spark that is lacking on "Listener." I'm writing this review for experienced music fans and don't intend on giving a synopsis of each song, so you'll have to go elsewhere for that- that's what the "listen before you buy it" samples are for. If you're a died in the wool Dave fan, buy "Listener Supported." If you're not, then pick up "Red Rocks" first. If you must buy "Listener Supported", I would strongly advise the DVD-they're basically the same price and you get pictures along with the sound!
