Why not five stars though? There are a few "boners" on this CD: "Time to Kill" sounds like the low-life tune "Call of the Wild" from the "House of Blue Light" CD. "Solitare" clearly sounds like a wanna-be industrial B-side. "One Man's Meat" is nothing more than Ian Gillian trying to come up with some innuendo.
Summary: If you like HEAVY and you like Deep Purple, this is a great album to listen. Lord, Blackmore, Glover and Paice are in fine form, and Gillian is definately in fine voice. A "really-really good" (but not "great") effort by the reigning Kings of hard rock.
